Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced TIG & ARC Welder (SS) to join our team. The ideal candidate will specialize in welding stainless steel components using Tungsten Inert Gas (TIG) and Shielded Metal Arc Welding (SMAW / ARC) techniques, ensuring high-quality, precise, and durable welds in accordance with engineering drawings and specifications.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform TIG and ARC welding on stainless steel materials and components.
• Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and welding specifications.
• Prepare materials by cutting, grinding, and fitting as required.
• Set up welding equipment and select proper filler materials and gases.
• Inspect welds for accuracy and quality; correct any defects or irregularities.
• Ensure all safety protocols and company procedures are followed.
• Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition.
• Collaborate with fabricators, fitters, and engineers for project coordination.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in TIG and ARC welding, specifically with stainless steel (SS).
• Ability to read and understand technical drawings and WPS (Welding Procedure Specification).
• Good knowledge of welding symbols, joint preparation, and metal characteristics.
• Attention to detail and precision in work.
• Certification in TIG/ARC welding (preferable but not always mandatory).
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
