Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Welder proficient in TIG (Tungsten Inert Gas) and ARC (Shielded Metal Arc Welding) processes, with hands-on experience working on Alloy Steel materials. The ideal candidate will be responsible for fabricating, assembling, and repairing metal components to precise specifications, ensuring high standards of safety, quality, and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform TIG and ARC welding operations on alloy steel components and structures.
• Interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and welding procedures.
• Set up welding machines based on job requirements (e.g., amperage, gas flow).
• Inspect materials, joints, and completed welds to ensure compliance with specifications and safety standards.
• Use grinders, cutting torches, and other tools to prepare and finish welds.
• Perform weld repairs and rework as needed.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to all safety regulations.
• Document work performed and report any material defects or fabrication issues.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in TIG and ARC welding, specifically on Alloy Steel.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and welding symbols.
• Familiarity with welding safety protocols and PPE usage.
• Certification in welding (preferred: ASME, AWS, or equivalent).
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Physical ability to perform welding tasks including standing, bending, and lifting heavy materials.
• Basic knowledge of metallurgy and heat effects on alloy steel.

Preferred Qualifications:

• 3+ years of experience welding alloy steel using TIG & ARC processes.
• Experience in industries such as pressure vessels, piping, oil & gas, or structural fabrication.
• Familiarity with pipe welding and position welding (1G–6G preferred).
