 Civil Supervisor

Job Summary:

The Civil Supervisor oversees and manages civil construction activities at the project site. They ensure that work is carried out as per design specifications, safety standards, and within timelines and budgets. The role involves coordination between various teams, subcontractors, and clients to ensure smooth execution of civil works.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and coordinate all civil construction activities on site, including earthworks, foundations, concrete, masonry, drainage, and structural works.
• Monitor project progress and ensure work is completed on time and within budget.
• Review construction drawings and ensure adherence to design specifications, quality standards, and safety regulations.
• Lead and manage site workers, subcontractors, and ensure availability of materials, equipment, and labour.
• Conduct site inspections, identify problems or defects, and ensure timely corrective actions.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental (HSE) regulations.
• Prepare and maintain site reports, progress reports, and documentation for project tracking.
• Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders for technical clarifications and approvals.
• Assist in planning, scheduling, and resource allocation for efficient execution of work.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
• Proven experience (typically 5+ years) in civil site supervision, preferably in infrastructure or building projects.
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and legal regulations.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and team coordination skills.
• Familiarity with project management tools and MS Office.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
