Steel Erectors/ Installers

Key Responsibilities:

• Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications for steel structures.
• Unload, stack, and prepare steel components for assembly.
• Align and position steel girders, columns, and beams using cranes, rigging, and hand tools.
• Bolt, weld, or rivet structural steel members together.
• Install metal decking, stairs, ladders, railings, and other fabricated steel elements.
• Ensure all work complies with safety regulations and quality standards.
• Conduct on-site measurements and modifications when necessary.
• Collaborate with engineers, crane operators, welders, and other construction workers.
• Use safety harnesses and other fall protection equipment while working at heights.
• Perform routine maintenance on tools and equipments

Skills & Qualifications:

• Proven experience in steel erection or structural steel installation.
• Ability to work at significant heights and in varying weather conditions.
• Skilled in reading blueprints and using construction tools/equipment.
• Understanding of welding, bolting, and rigging techniques.
• Strong attention to detail and safety.
• Physical fitness and stamina for lifting, climbing, and repetitive tasks.
• Certification in rigging, working at heights, and/or welding (preferred).
• OSHA or equivalent safety training certification (advantageous)

Work Environment:

• Outdoor construction sites, often at heights and in varying weather.
• Physically demanding and safety-critical conditions.
• Team-oriented and schedule-driven environment.
