A skilled and passionate South Indian Cook with expertise in preparing authentic and flavorful South Indian cuisine. Specializes in traditional dishes from Tamil Nadu, Kerala, Karnataka, and Andhra Pradesh, with a deep understanding of regional ingredients, spices, and cooking techniques. Experienced in both vegetarian and non-vegetarian preparations, including dosas, idlis, sambhar, rasam, biryanis, seafood curries, and various chutneys and pickles.

Key Skills:

  • Proficient in traditional South Indian cooking techniques (tawa, steaming, slow-cooking)
  • In-depth knowledge of spice blends and tempering methods
  • Skilled in making fresh batters, chutneys, and accompaniments from scratch
  • Capable of managing kitchen operations and maintaining hygiene standards
  • Experience in bulk cooking for events, restaurants, or catering

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and cook daily South Indian meals with consistency and authenticity
  • Ensure proper handling and storage of all ingredients
  • Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of kitchen area
  • Innovate and customize recipes as per dietary requirements
  • Monitor food quality and presentation before serving
