MEP Supervisor

Job Summary:

The MEP Supervisor is responsible for overseeing and coordinating all mechanical, electrical, and plumbing installations on a project or facility. The role involves managing subcontractors, ensuring work is completed safely, on schedule, within budget, and to required quality standards. The MEP Supervisor ensures full compliance with project specifications, standards, and local regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and coordinate MEP installation and maintenance activities on site.
• Monitor daily work progress and ensure completion according to schedule.
• Review MEP drawings and plans; ensure accurate execution and resolve discrepancies.
• Coordinate with civil and architectural teams to prevent conflicts.
• Ensure that all work is carried out according to approved shop drawings and specifications.
• Inspect installations and test systems to ensure functionality and safety.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Prepare progress reports and update project stakeholders regularly.
• Coordinate and supervise MEP subcontractors and suppliers.
• Attend project meetings and provide technical input.
• Support the commissioning and handover process.
• Assist in resolving technical issues and troubleshooting system failures.

Requirements:

• Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering (or related field).
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in MEP supervision in construction or facilities management.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection systems.
• Familiarity with local building codes, safety regulations, and quality standards.
• Ability to read and interpret MEP drawings and schematics.
• Strong leadership, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office and project management tools.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
