Heavy Driver Cum Operator

We are seeking a reliable and experienced Heavy Driver cum Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating heavy vehicles and machinery safely and efficiently, performing transportation duties, and assisting with equipment operation as required for construction, logistics, or industrial tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate heavy-duty vehicles such as dump trucks, trailers, tankers, and other specialized vehicles.
• Operate heavy machinery including forklifts, cranes, backhoes, loaders, excavators, or similar as needed.
• Transport materials and goods to specified destinations safely and on time.
• Perform daily inspection and basic maintenance of vehicles and equipment.
• Ensure all loads are properly secured and comply with transport regulations.
• Keep accurate logs of working hours, vehicle mileage, and maintenance.
• Follow safety procedures and company policies at all times.
• Assist with on-site tasks involving machinery operation when not driving.
• Report any mechanical issues or incidents to the supervisor immediately.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Valid heavy vehicle driving license (e.g., UAE – Heavy Vehicle License No. 4 or equivalent).
• Certification or training in operating specific machinery (if applicable).
• Proven experience as a heavy vehicle driver and equipment operator.
• Good knowledge of road safety regulations and transport procedures.
• Physically fit and able to handle long hours or heavy lifting if required.
• Basic mechanical skills are an advantage.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Preferred Experience:

• Minimum 3–5 years in a similar role.
• Experience in construction, logistics, oil & gas, or infrastructure projects.

Working Conditions:

• May involve long hours, weekends, or night shifts.
• Outdoor work in various weather conditions.
• Use of personal protective equipment (PPE) as required.
