Job Summary:

The Sales Officer (Banking) is responsible for promoting and selling the bank's financial products and services to individual and business clients. This role focuses on acquiring new customers, maintaining relationships with existing clients, and meeting sales targets in line with the bank's objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and approach potential customers to promote banking products (e.g., savings accounts, personal loans, credit cards, term deposits, insurance, etc.)
  • Achieve and exceed assigned sales targets and KPIs on a monthly and quarterly basis.
  • Conduct market research to identify selling possibilities and evaluate customer needs.
  • Maintain and develop relationships with existing customers through regular interactions and excellent service.
  • Organize customer visits, product presentations, and marketing activities.
  • Handle customer queries and provide appropriate banking solutions.
  • Ensure compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Generate daily/weekly/monthly sales reports and update CRM systems as required.

Required Qualifications and Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Finance, or a related field.
  • 1–3 years of experience in banking, sales, or financial services preferred (fresh graduates may be considered).
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to build relationships and negotiate effectively.
  • Goal-oriented with a proactive approach to sales.
  • Familiarity with banking products and regulatory standards is an advantage.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM tools.
