Employment Information

The MEP Supervisor is responsible for supervising and coordinating all mechanical, electrical, and plumbing works on construction sites. This includes overseeing site activities, ensuring compliance with design specifications and safety regulations, and coordinating with subcontractors and other trades to deliver high-quality installations on time and within budget.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and coordinate daily site activities for mechanical, electrical, and plumbing works.
  • Review and interpret technical drawings, specifications, and shop drawings to ensure proper execution of works.
  • Monitor installation works to ensure compliance with approved plans, quality standards, and safety protocols.
  • Liaise with consultants, architects, and subcontractors to resolve technical and coordination issues.
  • Ensure that MEP work progress is aligned with the overall project schedule.
  • Conduct regular site inspections and report issues, progress, and delays to the MEP Manager or Project Manager.
  • Coordinate testing, commissioning, and handover of MEP systems.
  • Maintain accurate records of site activities, materials, labour, and equipment used.
  • Enforce health and safety regulations on site.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in MEP supervision in construction projects (high-rise buildings, commercial, or infrastructure).
  • Strong knowledge of HVAC, electrical systems, fire fighting, plumbing, and ELV systems.
  • Ability to read and understand MEP drawings and schematics.
  • Proficient in MS Office and familiarity with project management software (e.g., AutoCAD, Primavera, MS Project).
  • Good leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Familiarity with local building codes and safety standards.

Working Conditions:

  • Site-based role; may require extended hours and weekend work depending on project timelines.
  • Work in both indoor and outdoor environments, including active construction zones.
