We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Electrician Maintenance Lead to oversee and coordinate the electrical maintenance operations within our facility. The Lead will be responsible for supervising a team of electricians, ensuring electrical systems are maintained safely and efficiently, and ensuring compliance with all applicable codes and standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise, train, and support a team of maintenance electricians and apprentices.
- Coordinate and assign daily maintenance tasks and projects to ensure optimal workflow.
- Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain complex electrical systems including control panels, motors, lighting, and PLCs.
- Plan and oversee preventative maintenance schedules to minimize downtime.
- Ensure all electrical work complies with safety regulations, codes, and company policies.
- Inspect completed work for accuracy, quality, and code compliance.
- Maintain detailed documentation of all electrical work, inspections, and maintenance activities.
- Collaborate with maintenance managers, engineers, and other departments to support operational goals.
- Order materials and maintain adequate inventory of tools and supplies.
- Assist in budgeting and cost control for electrical maintenance projects.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED; technical/vocational training preferred.
- Valid journeyman or master electrician license (depending on regional requirements).
- 5+ years of hands-on electrical maintenance experience; at least 2 years in a supervisory or lead role.
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, equipment, safety procedures, and local codes.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, and schematics.
- Proficiency with electrical testing tools, PLCs, and building automation systems.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including emergencies or weekend shifts as needed
