Electrician Maintenance

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Maintenance Electrician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the maintenance, repair, and installation of electrical systems and equipment within commercial, industrial, or residential facilities to ensure safe and efficient operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Inspect, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems including wiring, lighting, motors, and control systems.
• Perform routine maintenance on electrical systems and components.
• Install new electrical equipment and ensure compliance with local electrical codes and standards.
• Diagnose malfunctioning systems using test equipment and hand tools to locate the cause of a breakdown and correct the problem.
• Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and schematics.
• Maintain accurate records of all maintenance and repair work.
• Ensure all work is performed in accordance with safety regulations and company policies.
• Collaborate with other maintenance staff, engineers, and external contractors when needed.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical school or apprenticeship preferred.
• Valid electrician’s license or certification as required by local regulations.
• Proven experience as an electrician, preferably in a maintenance role.
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems, safety procedures, and local codes.
• Ability to use hand tools, electrical meters, and testing equipment.
• Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Physical ability to perform manual work, including climbing ladders and lifting equipment.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with PLC systems, HVAC, or industrial automation.
• Familiarity with energy management and preventive maintenance systems.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
