Concrete Mixer Driver

A Concrete Mixer Driver is responsible for transporting ready-mix concrete from the batching plant to construction sites. The driver operates a concrete mixer truck, ensuring timely delivery of quality concrete while maintaining safety standards and vehicle maintenance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Safely operate a concrete mixer truck, including loading, mixing, and delivering concrete to job sites.
• Follow delivery schedules and routes efficiently to meet project deadlines.
• Communicate with site managers or foremen regarding delivery times and concrete specifications.
• Conduct routine inspections and maintenance checks of the mixer truck to ensure proper working condition.
• Comply with traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies at all times.
• Record delivery details accurately, including load quantities and times.
• Assist with minor maintenance and cleaning of the mixer truck.
• Report any issues with the vehicle or delivery delays promptly to the supervisor.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) with appropriate endorsements.
• Previous experience driving concrete mixer trucks or heavy vehicles preferred.
• Knowledge of concrete mixing and delivery procedures.
• Good physical stamina and the ability to perform manual tasks.
• Strong communication and time management skills.
• Ability to work in varying weather conditions and at construction sites.
