Petrol Mechanics, also known as Automotive Service Technicians, specialize in the maintenance, repair, and servicing of petrol-powered vehicles. They diagnose mechanical issues, perform routine servicing, and repair components such as engines, transmissions, exhaust systems, brakes, and fuel systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Inspect, diagnose, and repair petrol engine vehicles.
• Conduct routine maintenance such as oil changes, filter replacements, and spark plug servicing.
• Tune engines and ensure emissions meet environmental standards.
• Test vehicle systems using diagnostic tools and road tests.
• Replace or repair faulty parts like clutches, radiators, brakes, and steering systems.
• Maintain service records and provide customer service when explaining vehicle issues.

Skills & Qualifications:

• Technical knowledge of petrol engines and vehicle systems.
• Proficiency with diagnostic equipment and hand tools.
• Good problem-solving and attention to detail.
• Vocational training or certificate in Automotive Technology or Mechanical Engineering.
• Physical stamina and manual dexterity.
