The Store Supervisor is responsible for overseeing daily operations in a retail environment, ensuring excellent customer service, managing staff, maintaining inventory levels, and supporting the Store Manager in achieving sales targets and operational goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and support store staff, including scheduling, training, and performance management.
- Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent service and efficient store operations.
- Monitor inventory and coordinate with suppliers for stock replenishment.
- Enforce company policies and procedures, including safety and security standards.
- Assist with visual merchandising and maintaining store cleanliness and presentation.
- Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and returns professionally.
- Support the Store Manager in achieving sales targets, managing budgets, and generating reports.
- Open and close the store as required, ensuring cash handling procedures are followed.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in retail or customer service (supervisory experience preferred).
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Ability to multitask and make decisions in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office and point-of-sale (POS) systems.
