The QA/QC Incharge is responsible for ensuring that products or services meet established standards of quality, including reliability, usability, and performance. This role involves developing and implementing quality control and assurance procedures, inspecting processes and outputs, and identifying areas for improvement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Quality Assurance:
- Develop, implement, and maintain QA systems, procedures, and policies.
- Ensure compliance with ISO standards and regulatory requirements.
- Conduct internal audits and coordinate external audits.
- Review and approve quality documentation, including SOPs, test protocols, and validation documents.
- Quality Control:
- Monitor production processes to ensure quality standards are maintained.
- Perform inspections and testing of materials, products, and equipment.
- Document non-conformities and initiate corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
- Manage calibration and maintenance of testing equipment.
- Team Leadership:
- Supervise and guide QC/QA staff.
- Train personnel on quality standards and practices.
- Coordinate with production, engineering, and procurement teams to ensure quality standards are met.
- Reporting & Documentation:
- Prepare quality reports, metrics, and performance analysis.
- Maintain accurate records of inspections, tests, and other QA/QC activities.
- Participate in review meetings and provide quality-related insights.
- Continuous Improvement:
- Identify quality improvement opportunities and implement best practices.
- Analyze quality data to identify trends and recommend process improvements.
Requirements:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or related field.
- Experience: 3–7 years in a QA/QC role, preferably in [specific industry]
- Skills:
- Strong understanding of quality control standards and methodologies.
- Proficiency in MS Office and quality management software.
