We are seeking a strategic and detail-oriented Procurement Manager to oversee our company's purchasing activities. The Procurement Manager will develop and implement sourcing strategies, manage supplier relationships, negotiate contracts, and ensure cost-effective and timely acquisition of goods and services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, lead, and execute procurement strategies aligned with company goals.
- Manage the procurement process, including sourcing, negotiation, contracting, and supplier performance evaluation.
- Identify potential suppliers, evaluate offers, and select vendors based on quality, cost, delivery, and reliability.
- Establish purchasing policies and ensure compliance with legal and ethical standards.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand procurement needs and ensure alignment with budget and timelines.
- Monitor market trends, pricing changes, and supply chain disruptions to adjust sourcing strategies proactively.
- Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and inventory levels.
- Develop and manage supplier relationships to ensure long-term strategic partnerships.
- Prepare procurement reports and forecasts for management review.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field (Master's preferred).
- Proven experience (5+ years) in a procurement or supply chain role, with at least 2 years in a managerial capacity.
- Strong negotiation, communication, and analytical skills.
- Proficiency in procurement software and tools (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Coupa).
- Solid knowledge of sourcing and procurement techniques as well as a dexterity in “reading” the market.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Professional certifications such as CPM (Certified Purchasing Manager), CPSM (Certified Professional in Supply Management), or CIPS.
- Experience with international procurement and global supply chains.
