We are seeking a strategic and detail-oriented Procurement Manager to oversee our company's purchasing activities. The Procurement Manager will develop and implement sourcing strategies, manage supplier relationships, negotiate contracts, and ensure cost-effective and timely acquisition of goods and services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, lead, and execute procurement strategies aligned with company goals.
  • Manage the procurement process, including sourcing, negotiation, contracting, and supplier performance evaluation.
  • Identify potential suppliers, evaluate offers, and select vendors based on quality, cost, delivery, and reliability.
  • Establish purchasing policies and ensure compliance with legal and ethical standards.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand procurement needs and ensure alignment with budget and timelines.
  • Monitor market trends, pricing changes, and supply chain disruptions to adjust sourcing strategies proactively.
  • Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and inventory levels.
  • Develop and manage supplier relationships to ensure long-term strategic partnerships.
  • Prepare procurement reports and forecasts for management review.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field (Master's preferred).
  • Proven experience (5+ years) in a procurement or supply chain role, with at least 2 years in a managerial capacity.
  • Strong negotiation, communication, and analytical skills.
  • Proficiency in procurement software and tools (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Coupa).
  • Solid knowledge of sourcing and procurement techniques as well as a dexterity in “reading” the market.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Professional certifications such as CPM (Certified Purchasing Manager), CPSM (Certified Professional in Supply Management), or CIPS.
  • Experience with international procurement and global supply chains.
