E&P Supervisor (Exploration & Production Supervisor)
The E&P Supervisor oversees and coordinates day-to-day exploration and production operations to ensure safe, efficient, and cost-effective oil and gas extraction. This includes supervising drilling, completion, production, and maintenance activities in compliance with industry regulations and company standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and manage field operations related to exploration, drilling, and production of oil and gas wells.
- Monitor well performance and optimize production rates through effective resource management.
- Ensure all operations comply with HSE (Health, Safety & Environment) standards and regulatory requirements.
- Coordinate with geologists, drilling engineers, and other technical staff to ensure operational efficiency.
- Prepare and submit daily reports on production, equipment status, and safety incidents.
- Lead field personnel and contractors; provide coaching and performance feedback.
- Manage operational budgets and control costs related to field activities.
- Oversee the implementation of maintenance schedules and troubleshooting procedures.
- Support reservoir management through well testing, logging, and surveillance.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Petroleum Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
- 5+ years of experience in oil and gas operations, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
- Strong understanding of upstream oilfield operations, including drilling, completions, and production.
- Knowledge of safety regulations and environmental compliance.
- Proficient in oilfield software (e.g., Well View, Open Wells, SCADA systems).
- Strong leadership, communication, and decision-making skills.
