Light Machine Operator

The Light Machine Operator is responsible for operating and maintaining light machinery used in the manufacturing or production process. This role ensures machines are running efficiently, safely, and producing quality products according to specifications.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate light machinery (e.g., assembly line equipment, packaging machines, CNC equipment, etc.) in a safe and efficient manner.
• Set up machines at the beginning of shifts to ensure proper working order.
• Perform routine inspections and basic maintenance to ensure machines remain in good working condition.
• Monitor production output to identify and correct issues as they arise.
• Load materials into machines and remove finished goods for quality checks.
• Record production data accurately and maintain logs or reports as required.
• Follow all safety protocols and company policies.

• Communicate any mechanical issues to maintenance personnel or supervisors.

  Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment is a plus.
• Basic mechanical skills and ability to troubleshoot minor machine issues.
• Ability to read and interpret technical documents or blueprints.
• Attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
• Physical stamina to stand, lift, and move for extended periods.
• Willingness to work in shifts, including evenings or weekends if needed

Work Environment:

• Factory or production floor setting.
• Exposure to moderate noise levels and machinery.
• Requires wearing protective equipment such as gloves, goggles, or earplugs depending on the task.
