Industrial Electrician (Grade-A)
Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and certified Industrial Electrician (Grade-A) to install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair industrial electrical systems and equipment. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of electrical codes, safety regulations, and hands-on experience with high-voltage systems, PLCs, motors, control panels, and automated machinery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install, inspect, and maintain electrical systems in industrial settings (factories, plants, or manufacturing facilities).
- Troubleshoot and repair electrical issues in machinery, equipment, and control systems.
- Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings.
- Install and maintain control panels, circuit breakers, motors, and other electrical components.
- Work with Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) and automation systems.
- Perform preventive and predictive maintenance on electrical systems.
- Ensure all work is done in compliance with local and national electrical codes and safety standards.
- Respond to emergency breakdowns and conduct timely repairs.
- Maintain accurate records of repairs, maintenance, and inspections.
- Collaborate with engineers, supervisors, and other tradespeople to optimize systems and improve efficiency.
Qualifications:
- Grade-A Electrician License/Certification (mandatory).
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in industrial electrical work.
- Strong knowledge of electrical codes (e.g., NEC, IEC, or local equivalents).
- Experience with PLCs, SCADA systems, VFDs, and industrial automation.
- Ability to work from schematics, manuals, and wiring diagrams.
- Good physical condition and ability to work in confined spaces or at heights.
- Strong troubleshooting skills and attention to detail.
