Continental Cook Description
A Continental Cook is responsible for preparing and cooking a wide range of European-style dishes, primarily from the Continental European culinary tradition, including French, Italian, Spanish, and other Mediterranean cuisines. This role requires knowledge of classic cooking techniques, sauces, and presentation styles associated with continental cuisine. The cook ensures high-quality food preparation, maintains hygiene and safety standards, and collaborates with kitchen staff to deliver consistent and flavorful dishes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook a variety of Continental dishes according to recipes and quality standards.
- Ensure proper portion control and presentation of meals.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen workspace.
