We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Clinic Cleaner to maintain a clean, safe, and sanitary environment within our clinic. The Clinic Cleaner will be responsible for daily cleaning duties, adhering to strict hygiene standards in a healthcare setting to ensure a welcoming and infection-free space for patients, staff, and visitors.
Key Responsibilities:
- Clean and sanitize consultation rooms, waiting areas, offices, restrooms, and common areas.
- Disinfect high-touch surfaces (e.g., door handles, chairs, counters) regularly.
- Empty and dispose of waste bins following proper biohazard procedures.
- Replenish supplies such as toilet paper, soap, hand sanitizer, and paper towels.
- Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors using appropriate cleaning equipment and products.
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the supervisor.
- Ensure compliance with infection control and clinic sanitation protocols.
- Use personal protective equipment (PPE) as required.
- Follow cleaning schedules and checklists diligently.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a similar cleaning role, preferably in a healthcare environment.
- Knowledge of proper cleaning techniques, use of cleaning chemicals, and safe handling of biohazard waste.
- Attention to detail and ability to follow strict hygiene procedures.
- Good physical condition; ability to lift, bend, and perform repetitive tasks.
- Reliable, punctual, and self-motivated.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Understanding of confidentiality and professional conduct in a clinical setting.
Desirable Qualifications:
- Basic knowledge of infection control practices.
