Roles and Responsibilities of Truck Mechanic

✅ Inspect, diagnose, and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems of trucks and heavy vehicles.
✅ Perform routine maintenance such as oil changes, filter replacements, brake adjustments, and tire rotations.
✅ Identify faults using diagnostic tools, manuals, and testing equipment.
✅ Repair or replace defective parts including engines, transmissions, clutches, axles, and steering components.
✅ Maintain and repair braking systems, suspension, and cooling systems.
✅ Ensure repairs and maintenance comply with safety and regulatory standards.
✅ Keep accurate records of services performed, parts used, and repairs completed.
✅ Perform road tests and final checks to ensure vehicles are in proper working order.
✅ Follow workplace safety procedures and wear appropriate PPE.
✅ Communicate with supervisors and vehicle operators regarding repairs and maintenance needs.
