Steel Fixer

Roles and Responsibilities of a Steel Fixer:

✅ Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and specifications for rebar placement.
✅ Measure, cut, bend, and shape steel bars and mesh using hand and power tools.
✅ Position and secure steel reinforcement using wire, clips, or welds as per design requirements.
✅ Ensure accurate alignment, spacing, and anchoring of steel structures.
✅ Assemble prefabricated rebar sections on-site as needed.
✅ Collaborate with engineers, supervisors, and other construction workers.
✅ Inspect and ensure that reinforcements meet safety, strength, and quality standards.
✅ Follow all health and safety regulations and maintain a clean, organized work area.
✅ Assist in pouring and compacting concrete around the steel framework.
