- Set up refrigeration systems (freezers, cold rooms, chillers).
- Ensure all installations comply with manufacturer guidelines and safety standards.
- Maintenance
- Conduct regular preventive maintenance.
- Clean and inspect components like fans, coils, and filters.
- Check gas levels, wiring, seals, and mechanical parts.
- Repairs
- Diagnose and troubleshoot faults in kitchen and refrigeration equipment.
- Replace or repair defective parts (compressors, motors, thermostats).
- Ensure minimal downtime by conducting efficient repairs.
- Documentation & Compliance
- Maintain service logs and repair records.
- Follow safety regulations and local codes.
- Coordinate with suppliers and manufacturers for parts and warranties.
- Customer Support
- Advise customers on proper usage and care.
- Respond to service calls and emergency breakdowns.
- Provide estimates for parts and labour.
