✅ Set up welding equipment, select proper gas mixture, wire type, and machine settings for the job.
✅ Perform MIG / MAG welding on different types of metals such as steel, stainless steel, and aluminum.
✅ Inspect and prepare materials and surfaces before welding (e.g., cleaning, grinding).
✅ Ensure welds meet quality and safety standards, including checking for defects like cracks or porosity.
✅ Repair or rework faulty welds as needed.
✅ Follow safety procedures and wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
✅ Maintain welding tools and equipment in good working condition.
✅ Work collaboratively with fabricators, fitters, and supervisors to meet production targets
