Mechanic

Roles and Responsibilities:

1. Inspection & Diagnosis:
   • Conduct routine inspections to identify wear, leaks, or damage.
   • Diagnose engine, transmission, hydraulic, and electrical issues.
2. Repairs & Maintenance:
   • Repair or replace faulty parts like clutches, brakes, and suspensions.
   • Perform oil changes, filter replacements, and system tune-ups.
3. Tool & Equipment Handling:
   • Use hand tools, lifting equipment, and diagnostic systems effectively.
   • Maintain tools in good working condition.
4. Preventive Maintenance:
   • Schedule and perform regular service checks.
   • Keep vehicles running efficiently to reduce downtime.
5. Safety & Compliance:
   • Follow workshop safety protocols and wear proper PPE.
   • Ensure repairs meet manufacturer and legal standards.
6. Documentation:
   • Maintain service records and repair logs.
   • Report issues and completed work to supervisors or fleet managers.
7. Team Coordination:
   • Work with operators and supervisors to prioritize urgent repairs.
   • Support field breakdowns and on-site repairs when required.
