Technical Skills:

System Design & Installation: Know the designs of HVAC systems and systems must be installed according to the building codes and blueprints. 
Refrigeration Knowledge: Know about refrigeration principles and cycle. 
Electrical Systems: Know electrical wiring, circuits, and components that are used in HVAC systems. 
HVAC Controls & Automation: Familiarity with control systems and automation for HVAC operations. 
Air Quality & Ventilation: Know the air quality standards and method to optimize air quality. 
2. Troubleshooting & Problem-Solving 
Diagnostics: Ability to identify problems in HVAC systems and locate faulty parts . 
Analytical Skills: Using logical thinking skills to analyze problems and work on effective repairs. 
Mechanical Aptitude: Familiarity with mechanical equipment, tools, and diagnostics. 
3. Customer Service Skills 
Communication: Ability to effectively communicate technical problems to clients in a clear, understandable manner . 
Professionalism: Be courteous and professional to clients in order to build trust , and customer satisfaction. 
4. Safety Awareness 
Compliance with Safety Standards: Knowledge of HVAC safety codes and guidelines, including OSHA standards. 
Use of Safety Equipment: Skilled in using PPE (personal protective equipment) and following protocols for handling refrigerants and other hazardous materials.
