4. Skill in testing alarm systems to verify operation and troubleshoot issues
5. Understanding of local and international fire safety codes and standards (e.g., NFPA)
6. Ability to use testing equipment such as multimeters, loop testers, and signal generators
7. Familiarity with programming fire panels and integrating with other safety systems
8. Good documentation skills to record test results, maintenance logs, and reports
9. Attention to detail to ensure installations are precise and code-compliant
10. Physical fitness and comfort working in ceilings, confined spaces, or ladders
