Roles and Responsibilities:
- Operate excavators to dig trenches, foundations, and holes as per project specifications.
- Load and move materials like soil, rocks, and debris.
- Perform routine maintenance checks and basic repairs on the excavator.
- Ensure safety of self and others by following safety protocols and site regulations.
- Interpret construction plans and signals from ground workers or supervisors.
- Monitor equipment performance and report any mechanical issues.
- Maintain cleanliness and proper functioning of the machine.
- Work in coordination with site supervisors and other machine operators.
- Adhere to time schedules to ensure timely project completion.
- Assist in other site-related tasks when equipment is not in use.
