Dump Truck Operator

Roles and Responsibilities:

1. Truck Operation:
   • Drive dump trucks to transport materials to and from construction sites.
   • Maneuver safely in tight or uneven terrain.
2. Loading & Unloading:
   • Ensure proper loading of materials and safe dumping at the correct location.
   • Follow instructions for material type, weight limits, and placement.
3. Vehicle Checks:
   • Conduct daily pre- and post-trip inspections.
   • Report mechanical issues and perform minor maintenance if needed.
4. Safety Compliance:
   • Wear appropriate PPE and follow site safety regulations.
   • Drive cautiously and avoid hazards on-site and on the road.
5. Documentation:
   • Maintain accurate trip records, fuel logs, and delivery reports.
   • Follow dispatch or supervisor instructions for scheduled runs.
6. Team Coordination:
   • Communicate with site supervisors, excavator operators, and loaders.
   • Support smooth workflow and material handling on-site.
