Bar bender and Carpenter

Roles and Responsibilities:

1. Rebar Preparation:
   • Cut and bend steel bars according to structural plans.
   • Measure and mark rebar as per technical specifications.
2. Fixing and Placement:
   • Install and tie rebar at construction sites.
   • Ensure proper spacing, alignment, and anchoring.
3. Tool Handling:
   • Operate bar cutting and bending machines.
   • Use manual tools like hammers, cutters, and tying wire.
4. Safety and Compliance:
   • Follow site safety rules and use PPE.
   • Maintain clean and hazard-free work areas.
5. Drawing Interpretation:
   • Read and understand rebar schedules and structural drawings.
6. Coordination:
   • Work closely with site engineers, masons, and other tradesmen.

Roles and Responsibilities:

1. Formwork Construction:
   • Build wooden molds (formwork) for concrete casting.
   • Measure and cut timber or plywood accurately.
2. Installation & Assembly:
   • Install doors, windows, panels, and interior fittings.
   • Assemble scaffolding or temporary structures if required.
3. Tool Usage:
   • Operate hand tools (saws, hammers) and power tools (drills, planers).
4. Blueprint Reading:
   • Interpret technical drawings and measurements for carpentry tasks.
5. Repair & Maintenance:
   • Perform repair work on wood structures as needed.
6. Safety Practices:
   • Follow all construction site safety guidelines.
   • Maintain tools and work areas in safe condition.
7. Team Collaboration:
   • Coordinate with masons, steel fixers, and site supervisors.
